Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Quiet!!! I bought this just before xmas and had it installed xmas eve. The poor dishwasher definitely had it's work cut out for it over the next 2 days. WOW what a great little machine!! Quiet as a mouse, I had to check a couple of times to make sure it was working. I have only used the short wash cycle and I haven't had a dirty dish come out of it yet. The short wash even dries the dishes, much to the delight of my son who used to dry all the dishes that came out of my old washer! The only downside is that you have to stack large dinner plates alternatively on either side of the rack as 2 dont fit side by side. I would highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Buy Purchased new machine to replace my 1996 Dishlex and pleased with result - particularly the quietness. Have one complaint though and that is lack of infomation regarding rinse aid. No explanation as to the numbers on the dial or how MAX operates and just how much the unit holds. Presume the light comes on when holder is empty so one must assume there is rinse aid in if no light. Also how many washes should one expect from the holder - have yet to see any light so going on trust - or is there some way to check there is rinse aid in the holder!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What A Pleasant Surprise! I recently installed this D/W (to replace an aging Asko appliance) and have been amazed at the results. Not only is the Dishlex noticeably very much quieter than the Asko (despite all the hype to the contrary), it does a significantly better cleaning job in a much shorter time. I can fit more dishes into a single wash than ever before - and the 'half load' feature is an absolute boon for single people like me! I cannot speak too highly of this machine - and would recommend it over its competitors that cost twice as much (or even more).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from STUPID BASKETS I bought this machine to replace a Dishlex that had lasted without fault for 18 years. Now I wonder how design technology can go backwards in that time . The top basket is the dumbest design , nothing stays in place when you pull the top basket out previously placed plates fall all over the place and the array of soft spikes for long stem glasses what a laugh who would want to wash that many glasses , 13 place settings you would have to be dreaming, whoever designed these baskets is a basket case. A dumb machine don't buy it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet Had a Dishlex for 24 years, finally went where good and faithful dishwashers go. So, naturally, I bought another. Some improved features, some failures, but, on balance, I am quite happy with the purchase. Plate capacity is improved. Cutlery basket is bigger. Overall performance is improved, plates come out dryer. The detergent dispenser is improved. The quietness is greatly appreciated. Some improvements I would like to have incorporated: a) The cross ties in the bottom basket sometimes run in the centre of the plate supports; this causes the plate to sit at a different angle. b) The "closure" on the cutlery basket wont accept much of my cutlery; I removed it. c) The upper level cup support conflicts with long stem wine glasses; I removed them. (My earlier Dishlex had a lightweight bar and separate mesh in this service which could be folded out of the way. The bar in its lowered position was used to restrain wine glasses and lightweight plastic containers. I miss this feature.) Like all new things there is an adaptation learning curve.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for money We bought another Dishlex to replace our old Dishlex and we are glad we did. Its taken us about a month to get used to the different stacking arrangement. It didn't dry very well on the Eco 50 degrees setting so we tried the 65 degree setting which dries perfectly well. Its very quiet and is simple and easy to use. My only criticism is that the glasses and mugs don't seem to stack quite as well as the last Dishlex. Make sure to level the machine and peel off the plastic film on the door before you install it!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good dishwasher for the price This dishwasher has worked well so far. Purchased for office use so it is run once daily. All dishes come out clean but tops of cups and the cutlery drawer remain wet when run on a normal cycle. Top tray has wine glass holders on each side and rubber cup grip on one side which are good features, but the design of it makes it hard to fill the space with cups and the wine glass holders can get in the way of anything taller than a small-ish coffee cup. Have seen better top tray designs in other dishwashers. There is no delay function when setting the cycle (i.e. you cannot set it to start running later, only start it on the spot) which would have been a useful feature for an office environment, but would not matter to a home user. Does a good job of getting things clean, so overall good buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing dishlex dishwasher dsp6106w I have been using dishwasher now for approx 2 weeks, so very disappointed with this machine. The top shelf is badly divided into 3 sections and then not flat, meaning arranging cups, glasses and containers is super awkward. Bottom shelf layout is marginally better. I pack this thing daily and every time it reminds me how hopeless a dishwasher can be.  Also does not dry the dishes everything comes out really wet , so frustrating. So very disappointed in dishlex.
